About Us

It all starts when Michelin developed the lunar tire for NASA based on the Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) technology. It was then extended to the newly unveiled Uptis (Unique Puncture-proof Tire System) airless tire.

This composite material is also developed by our team: AraNea Composite, born in 2019 to extend the use of GFRP to non-pneumatic applications. Today, we focus on concrete reinforcement to take part to the ecological transition of the construction world. Our expertise is reinforced by Michelin's high-tech materials research and development.

Thus, AraNea Composite offers solutions that combine performance, quality, safety and environmental positive impact.

4 times lighter than steel and corrosion free, AraNea's fibers enable to build thinner, aesthetic and structural constructions with any kind of concrete.

Performance

AraNea fibers are resistant to all types of aggression (chemical, UV, bacteria, mold and chlorides). There is no need to increase concrete thickness to protect reinforcement.

Fibers present a high tensile strength and can be applied to versatile applications like 3D printing concrete or other non-standard uses.
